New things from the past

I've had this Tiffany pendant for many years now. It was sold with a think black string. I wore it 24/7 for a year or so. Then it went back into the famous turquoise box and I managed to forget I even had this pretty little thing. Recently cleaning up the shelves I found it. I tried it on and realized I don't like the black string anymore and we are not going to be friends again. I ended up cutting it up, fixing a simple silver chain to fit and now I'm once again absolutely in love with this pretty little thing.
New things are the well forgotten old ones.

St. Petersburg

My traveling marathon ended with a three-day stay in beautiful St. Petersburg. Doubtlessly my favorite city in Russia. Peter the Great who built the city called it "the window to Europe". It is completely different from Moscow - much more calm, with so many beautiful buildings and little ships sailing down the multiple water canals.
